With more than 20 years in the safety consulting “space” we’ve worked alongside you so you could make it home safe at night. We’ve steered contractors in the right direction to meet compliance standards. We’ve guided safety policies for job sites. All the while we were listening to what you needed and what was missing in leading edge safety and perimeter security products.
Over the years we’ve heard your frustrations. We’ve witnessed dangerous accidents that were preventable “if only there was a more reliable product, a simpler product.”

We take pride in knowing that over 450,000 linear feet of 2×4 was saved from landfill over the last five years, with the rollout of the reusable Hilmerson Safety Rail System™. Since 2019, for each rail panel sold, a tree has been donated on behalf of our customer to One Tree Planted for reforestation – over 5,360 trees – supporting our customer’s lean initiatives and sustainable building practices.
During the last year we were awarded two additional patents for the Hilmerson Safety Rail System™ that protect and recognize the ingenuity of our guardrail storage platform and the rail system’s functional Multi-Use Stair/Slab Grabber.
Our Hilmerson Barrier Fence System™ with its patented Side Saddle Bracket™ is also standing solid, secure, and straight protecting a variety of projects including school construction in New York City and the University of Minnesota.
Customers like Mortenson and JE Dunn are enhancing security with the addition of mobile access gates, now offered with the barrier fence system and interchangeable with Hilmerson’s Free-Standing Fence System™.
