The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has awarded Hilmerson Safety® U.S. Patent 10,597,057 for its safety rail cart system, also known as the Hilmerson Safety Rail System™ kit. Granted on March 24, 2020, the patent recognizes the invention of the reusable, galvanized steel mobile guardrail kit that replaces old-style wooden 2×4 guardrails and their archaic assembly and waste practices. The patented kit “cart” provides contractors a new and efficient method of delivering, stacking, storing and transporting guardrails on high-profile jobsites.

The Hilmerson Safety Rail System™ deploys in minutes instead of hours. A self-contained kit, consisting of a cart, 200 linear feet of guardrail, bases and all hardware needed to install the system, is quickly and effortlessly rolled to each guardrail installation location. On project completion, the guardrail system rapidly disassembles and stacks for storage.
