Looking for the latest innovation in barrier fencing?
Does your existing barrier fence system damage easily or leave gaps for outsider access points or footholds? Is it difficult to handle and transport? Are fencing attachments damaging your barriers?
High-rise construction, renovation and remodeling, airport construction, and securing pedestrian traffic near construction all pose different job site security challenges.
Traditional barrier fence systems generally fall short in offering a “tight” non-penetrable system that protects the job site’s assets and workers. Loose, light-gauge chain link, gaps left at 90′ angles, barrier damage from fence attachments, or room for a foothold that allows climbing access all pose security problems. Traditional barrier fence systems can also be labor intensive to install and maintain.
With 30 years experience in the field we fully understand the problem and the need. Old ways are just that, old. You need new. New innovation and engineering. New construction-grade™ material that won’t rust. New ways to efficiently store and transport your barrier fencing. New fence attachment options that do not damage your barriers.
That’s why we engineered the Hilmerson Barrier Fence System™ – the most versatile modular barrier fence system in the industry:

Robust Barrier Fence for Construction
Designed to last 15+ years, this Construction-Grade™ panelized fence system offers non-penetrable security for construction sites with hot-dipped, 13-gauge, galvanized steel posts supporting all sides of the panel perimeter and center. 9 gauge chain link. Custom sizes available upon request.
Barrier Fence Panel Rack for Easy Transportation and Storage
We know that simple storage and inventorying is critical, so we worked closely with expert equipment and yard managers in the construction industry to design “barrier fence kits” that are simple, versatile, and practical. Easy to store and handle, the forkable Barrier Fence Panel Rack can easily be placed “side-by-side” on a truck for efficiency. Panels are secured to the rack eliminating the need to double or triple band. Rack design reduces labor waste, double handling and improves worker safety.

Why did you choose the Hilmerson Barrier Fence System™?
See why this 40-year veteran, Sr. Superintendent chose the patented Hilmerson Barrier Fence System™ to protect his project in downtown Minneapolis.
What People Say About Hilmerson Barrier Fencing
“First and foremost, we needed to keep the public safe. This particular project is located adjacent to the fast paced fully operational Metro Light Rail and surrounded by streets, walkways and vehicular traffic. We needed to protect pedestrians, vehicles and of course, our construction workers and delivery personnel inside and outside the project.
We take pride in our projects and our workmanship. By choosing the Hilmerson Barrier System™, we ensure a clean and professional appearance and superior site security and safety; which gives confidence to all involved.
Traditional construction perimeter fencing systems are made of light gauge steel that requires continuous maintenance and is prone to breach and damage. The Hilmerson Barrier Fence System™ is made of hot dipped, 13 gauge, galvanized steel designed to last 15+ years. We feel it’s smart money to invest in something that lasts.
Since this particular project is located adjacent to the Metro Light Rail, we needed a product that installed rapidly to minimize any Metro Light Rail disruptions. The team allocated 4 hours for the fence installation. The ability to install the Hilmerson Barrier Fence System™ in 1/4 of the time saved us significant time, money and schedule.
The Hilmerson Barrier Fence System™ is virtually maintenance free. We installed the system over 1.5 years ago and haven’t touched it since. We added heavy duty privacy screening and banners that would typically add strain to the system, however, the panels are straight as an arrow.”
