The Director of Operations and Transportation at a large Midwest public institution was looking for Rooftop Safety Expertise. They were looking for guidance in selecting the right system and/or systems to ensure OSHA compliance and to protect employees and contractors from falls when performing rooftop maintenance activities on multiple rooftops throughout their campuses.
They were looking for a Turnkey-Solution; a qualified and safety trained company to procure the material and install it according to manufacturer specifications. In addition, the rooftop safety railing had to be OSHA compliant, durable to withstand the harsh exterior elements, be non-rooftop-penetrating, galvanized to prevent rusting, simple to install and low cost to maintain.

Hilmerson Safety® procured the material, hired the craning company, deployed our internal qualified and trained staff to install and completed the project on time and under budget. In addition, a Rooftop Safety Plan was provided at no cost to the customer.
